  • Casefinding List (updated October 2007) Clarification - Please note the following: 1. ICD-9-CM codes 236.0 Endometrial stroma, low grade (8931/3), 237.5 Ependymoma (epithelial) (malignant) (9391/3), and 237.6 Papillary Meningioma (9538/3) are still reportable to FCDS and fall within the given range of 235.0-238.9 in the new Casefinding List. 2. ICD-9-CM codes 284.9 and 285.0 are no longer used to code refractory anemias. These codes have been deleted from the new list. Refractory anemias are now coded 238.72 through 238.75. 3. ICD-9-CM code 238.7 is no longer in effect.

  • Zip code, Fips County, Florida City Name Verification file (comma separated text file) This can be used by abstracting vendors to lower the number of county/zip/city errors for abstracts submitted to FCDS. The USPS Zip/County/Address Lookup Page has the very latest zipcodes.
  • CanQues: CanQues is an interactive system with a Java interface that allows the user to access millions pre-calculated cancer statistics. CanQues performs no calculations and contains statistics that were created using SEER*Stat. This latest version enhances the system's charting capability and adds web-based graphing features.
  • SEER*Prep The SEER*Prep software converts ASCII text data files to the SEER*Stat database format, allowing you to analyze your cancer data using SEER*Stat. SEER*Prep performs two main functions: it converts text data to the specific binary format required by SEER*Stat, and it creates the SEER*Stat data dictionary.
  • SEER*Stat The SEER*Stat statistical software provides a convenient, intuitive mechanism for the analysis of SEER and other cancer-related databases. It is a powerful PC tool to view individual cancer records and to produce statistics for studying the impact of cancer on a population.
